Some highlights from my California trip:

* Checked into the Del Marcos Hotel. Met Elizabeth and family. Check out the pics to see our 1950s-style room.

* Breakfast at Elmer's: Cinnamon raisin bread French toast and cheese blintzes.

* Went geocaching in Palm Springs, hunting especially for travel bugs.

* Took a 3-hour hike in Murray Canyon. WOW!!! It was fantastic. Dipped into the very cold, secluded waterfall pool at the end of the trail (pic at right).

* Target to buy Jonas some more shorts.

* Pizza and spaghetti at Lotza Mozza Pizza-N-Pasta.

* Back to the hotel to shower and make ourselves gorgeous.

* Poolside welcome party and drinks for Elizabeth and Micah's wedding (ceremony tomorrow).
