I'm in Mound this week visiting my parents and I took my three year old son to the Westonka branch of the Hennepin County Library. It's amazing how much the same it is, though of course all the technology has been updated. It definitely brought back memories of checking out every last book in the YA section... and of course, the embarrassment of continuing to check out the SVH books well past what I thought was the appropriate age. Good times.
And yes, the self-service checkout must be a godsend to shy folks.
